EH Wright Co has teamed with Rockwell Automation to provide the most technologically sound and globally supportable control system in the industry for the extrusion process.

The Optima’s roots are firmly planted in what all PugMaster controllers have brought to the extrusion process. Excellent column temper and rate control by accurately controlling the raw material moisture content and feed rate. It builds on previous PugMaster’s ability to measure returns material and compensate raw material feed to provide ‘Total Feed Control’ for a more consistent extrusion rate. With up to eight (8) ratioed additives with optional Flex-Ratio control, your recipes for different brick are virtually limitless. There is also a built-in Ethernet Modem, which means Real-Time Remote Diagnostics are never more than a phone call away.

In addition to the standard Optima, we offer a CE (Condensed Edition) version for simpler applications and an Embedded version for existing control systems. Please ask for more details.

The OptimaCE is a reduced function set of the Optima, which makes it well suited for non-complex extrusion applications and reclaimers. The Optima Embedded and Optima EmbeddedCE are both designed to run in your Allen-Bradley Logix based PLC and Rockwell Software FactoryTalk View applications.
